Q: What are your current hours? 

A: Our Tasting Room hours are 12pm-7pm. We are open 7 days a week!

 

Q: What are the current COVID-19 Restrictions?

A: Per New Mexico guidelines, we are  not currently requiring guests to wear masks at this time.

We are currently open for our normal hours of 12pm-7pm every day. We offer wine flights which allow our guests to taste 4 wines. Flights are $13 each, or you can purchase by the glass or bottle. We have indoor and outdoor seating available. We are not accepting reservations, walk ins only.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation to come in?

A: No, you do not need to make a reservation to come to the Tasting Room. If you are coming with a group larger than 10 people, you may call ahead at 505-344-5911 or email info@casarondena.com to give us a heads up to expect a large group, but this does not serve as an actual reservation, or guaranteed seating. We are not currently scheduling private tastings, or tours. There may be times where we run out of seating, mainly on weekends, but guests are welcomed to bring a blanket as back up seating, as we have plenty of grassy areas.

 

Q: How much does a wine flight cost?

A: Wine tasting flights are $13. The Tasting Room at Casa Rondeña Winery allows you the opportunity to sample our most popular fine wines made on the winery premises.

Our wine club members enjoy a free tasting flight on each visit!

Q: Can I bring food to Casa Rondeña?

A: Outside food is not allowed at the winery.

There are cheese and meat plates, fruit and veggie plates, spreads, crackers, chips, Boar’s Head meat and cheese snacks, chocolates  and more available for purchase in the tasting room.

Outside food can not be taken into the 1629 Club area. The 1629 Club offers appetizers, dinner entrees,  brick-oven pizzas and desserts to 1629 Wine Club members only. Please see our 1629 Club page for more information. 

 

Q: Do you serve any other types of alcohol besides wine?

A: Yes, the 1629 Club and the Tasting Room offer assorted canned Marble beers.

 

Q: Do you allow people under 21 years old at the winery?

A: Yes, we are a family friendly winery, as long as minors do not consume any alcohol and are supervised at all times.

 

Q: Can I bring my pet to the winery?

A: We do not allow pets at the winery with the exception of registered service animals.

 

Q: Do you have non-alcoholic options available?

A: Yes, we have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

 

Q: Does Casa Rondeña give a military discount?

A: Yes, we give a 10% discount to all military members.

 

Q: Is photography/filming allowed at Casa Rondeña?

A: A photography permit must be purchased to do a photo shoot or for any filming at the winery. Call 505-344-5911 for pricing and details.

 

Q: Can I host an event at the winery?

A: Yes, the winery has many options available to host your events, such as weddings, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, baby showers, birthday parties, family reunions, business parties/meetings, retirement parties, etc. Call or email Jerry or Vicki Newsom at 505-278-0506 or events@casarondena.com for details.

 

Q: If I’m a wine club member, can I bring my friends and family with me to the winery?

A: Yes, you can bring a party of  up to 8 people, including yourself.

 

Q: Can I go to the 1629 Club if I am not a member?

A: Depending on our availability, day passes are available for purchase on a very limited basis for non-members who are considering membership and want to try the 1629 Club. Otherwise, the 1629 Club is open to 1629 Wine Club members only. Day pass availability depends on our reservation list and it is recommended to call ahead a week or more in advance. Wednesdays and Thursdays are the best days to secure a day pass.
