Q: What are your current hours? 

A: During the current public health emergency shutdown, our Tasting Room hours are 12pm-5:30pm. We are open daily to buy wine and gift ship items to-go. Our 1629 Club is also offering Take-Out from 3-7pm Thursday-Sunday. To place a  food to-go order call 505-400-7525. To-Go food orders are to be picked up at the 1629 club at the back of our property. The gate will be open to allow you to drive straight back to the Club to pick up your order. You can order wine to-go at the tasting room any day between 12:00 and 5:30pm, or you can also add wine to-go with your food order. Wine Club Membership bottles may ONLY be picked up at the tasting room. We are also offering home delivery for wine and gift shop orders of $100 or more! All wine deliveries must be signed for by an adult over the age of 21.

*All information below this is only relevant when the current public health order is lifted, and we are able to offer “dine-in” service again. The scheduled date is November 30th, but that can change.*

Q: What has changed because of COVID-19?

A: We are currently open for our normal hours of 12pm-7pm every day. Due to COVID restrictions, we are unable to offer “tastings” or sampling at this time, therefore we can only offer by the glass or by the bottle to be enjoyed on our lovely patio, or in our Great Hall. We also require our guests to wear masks whenever not seated. In compliance with our NM Safe Certification, we also ask that all guests sign in for contact tracing. We are taking all the measures we can to remain a safe and healthy place to visit during this time.

 

Q: What are your hours?

A: The tasting room is open daily from 12 pm to 7 pm.

The 1629 Club is open Thursday – Sunday from 4 pm to 10 pm and is open to 1629 Wine Club members only. (Seasonal hours may vary)

 

Q: Do I need to make a reservation for a wine tasting?

A: No, you do not need to make a reservation for a wine tasting unless you are coming with a group larger than 8 people. Reservations can be made for a private tasting. (*Please keep in mind that tastings are not available at this time, but you still do not need a reservation to stop by our winery)

 

Q: How much does a wine tasting cost?

A: Wine tastings are $10 per person. The Tasting Room at Casa Rondeña Winery allows you the opportunity to sample the entire portfolio of our fine wines made on the winery premises. (*Please keep in mind this is under normal circumstances, and we currently do not offer tastings, only by the glass or bottle due to COVID safe practices)

 

Q: Can I bring food to Casa Rondeña?

A: Outside food can be brought to the winery if you are a wine club member only.

There are cheese boards, spreads, crackers, Boar’s Head meat and cheese snacks, and chocolates available for purchase in the tasting room. Outside food can not be taken into the 1629 Club area.

 

Q: Can I purchase food at the winery?

A: Yes, there are cheese boards, spreads, crackers and chocolates available for purchase in the tasting room.

The 1629 Club offers tapas, pizzas and desserts to 1629 Wine Club members Thursday – Sunday from 4 pm to 10 pm.

 

Q: Do you serve any other types of alcohol besides wine?

A: Yes, the 1629 Club offers Marble beer to 1629 Wine Club members.

 

Q: Can I bring my pet to the winery?

A: We do not allow pets at the winery with the exception of registered service animals.

 

Q: Do you have non-alcoholic options available?

A: Yes, we have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

 

Q: Does Casa Rondeña give a military discount?

A: Yes, we give a 10% discount to all military members.

 

Q: Is photography/filming allowed at Casa Rondeña?

A: A photography permit must be purchased to do a photo shoot or filming at the winery. Call 505-344-5911 for pricing and details.

 

Q: Can I host an event at the winery?

A: Yes, the winery has many options available to host your events, such as weddings, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, baby showers, birthday parties, family reunions, business parties/meetings, retirement parties, quinceaneras, etc. Call Jerry Newsom at 505-278-0506 for details.

 

Q: If I’m a wine club member, can I bring my friends and family with me to the winery?

A: Yes, you can bring up to a party of 8 people, including yourself.

 

Q: Can I go to the 1629 Club if I am not a member?

A: Yes, day passes are available for purchase for the 1629 Club, otherwise, the 1629 Club is open to 1629 Wine Club members only.
