Server/Bartender - Animante de Rondeña

Casa Rondeña is a family-owned and operated winery nestled in the picturesque Village of Los Ranchos, New Mexico. Since 1995, Casa Rondeña has been committed to the growing and winemaking practices that respect its agricultural roots, and the greater community of Los Ranchos.

The winery is expanding and seeking a Bartender/Server for our new Animante de Rondeña, Wednesday - Sunday, 25-30 hours per week. $16/hour + gratuities and commissions.

Job Description:

Animante de Rondeña at Casa Rondeña Winery is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bartenders/Servers to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our members in our newly opened Animante de Rondeña.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring our members and their guests have an outstanding experience from start to finish.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about our wine selections.
  • Serve wine, cocktails, and other beverages in accordance with the winery’s standards and local regulations.
  • Assist with food service, ensuring timely and precise delivery of orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
  • Handle transactions and operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar and dining areas before and after service.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay updated on our wine offerings and special events.
  • Uphold the winery’s high standards of service and hospitality.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bartender or server in a high-end restaurant, bar, or winery.
  • Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service

Winemaker's Assistant - Full Time Position

Family-owned and operated since 1995, Casa Rondeña is nestled in the picturesque Village of Los Ranchos, New Mexico, committed to the growing and winemaking practices that respect its agricultural roots, and the greater community of Los Ranchos. 

Casa Rondeña Winery is expanding and looking for a passionate individual who wants to build a long-term career with us. This position offers opportunities for career growth and development.

Working under the guidance of the Vintner and Winemaker, the Winemaker’s Assistant will engage in hands-on production tasks ranging from fruit to bottling. This role demands strong attention to detail, strict adherence to established winemaking protocols, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization. Based on your experience, you may also take on more independent winemaking responsibilities, with opportunities to contribute your creative input as an essential aspect of the role.

2+ years of experience in a similar position is preferred, but not required. This position offers opportunities for career growth and development. 

 Assist with:

  • Inventory and Reporting
  • Processing of grapes during harvest to include pressing/crushing
  • Fermentation procedures to include inoculations, punch downs, pump overs, racking, and additions
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility, equipment, and working spaces
  • Tank and barrel cleaning
  • Filtering of finished wine
  • Available throughout Harvest Season
  • Vineyard work, to include planting new vines, replacing vines, pruning, weeding and suckering, shoot tying, shoot positioning, canopy management, wire lifting, hand harvesting, etc.
  • Special projects given by management

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Must be able to skillfully navigate Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends 
  • Must be 21 or older 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk on uneven ground and wet surfaces
  • Must be comfortable with heights
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time 
  • Ability to operate in small spaces 
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Be available for the Harvest work schedule of 6-7 days per week and 10+ hours a day
